First of all let me say that this work of love took me on and off two years to finish. This was no easy feat. I love that, this past March 2012, I was finally able to give her the blanket she had been waiting so long for. I was in astonishment when I made my last double crochet stitch. I had actually done it!!!! :) The smile and light in my Mom's eyes were well worth the time spent. :) I will cherish that moment forever.
